Today has been a strange day to grow into for some reason. I'll strike it off according to weather, as it has rained off and on since yesterday, through the night and today. Here in Tampa Bay, it is raining alot today. No Sun out there. None and I didn't need some big-shot-computer-reading meteorologist to explain that to me. I've lived in the South most of my days and know that I and most of them in my 'Circle from Childhood' know that we didn't need a meteorologist to tell us what we had in store for the out of doors. Neither today, do I pay much attention to them with inflated egos. Here the Four Seasons became a part of our Body's Vascular System. It really is as if we are linked to the weather patterns by our DNA. This comes from being a multi-generational Southerner, I believe...
...besides, Up Down South all you have to do is take a peek out the window or back door and there's your answer. Don't even try to understand, just remember to carry an umbrella when stepping out during the season of plenty rain. We don't tend to wear galoshes down here, we wear our flip flops or some walk about bare foot. When you hear thunder get your butt moving. When lightening happens get you ass in doors. If Great Spirit, brings the type of rain that hits the windows, well, were in for a good damned rain. The winds are kicking up and are having gusts out there too. I know I should have closed the computer, but I'm chatting with you.
So then, I'll task indoors and know not to make plans for stepping out for a walk about. No, not right now anyways. In this part of the South, we leave the weather up to God and try our damnedest to be thankful for the rain, lightening and thunder. Especially when there's a show going on like there is right now. Here in the Sanctuary connected to the Preserve, our planted one's are very happy. This season has been a Blessing for us here in the South Eastern, United States of America. We have had a years long drought and our lakes, ponds and rivers have needed much rain. So have our marshes, wet lands and swamp land needed this for a long time. I am thankful for this season of plenty rain. Blessed. Seen.
The Meniere's has played audio tricks on me today. So distracting and sometimes disturbing. My right ear has been popping - some of them loud as a fire cracker. Startles me every-damned-time too! The spiders and worms have been calm today - now that I think about it, so have the pains on and in my scalp and skull. Dizziness is mild, a tipsy dizzy, my nausea is running down the center and I mist lightly about my bobble head...
...and I'm good and cheerful about that and take advantage of a mild sort of day. Push stuff a bit. Push the envelope type of thing. Perhaps do a couple of tasks and know that any tasking that I decide to do will be done with safety in mind. Yesterday, there were a couple of times I thought I was going to fall. Fortunately, no falls. That is the zone I want to be in - The Do Not Fall Zone. Falling is horrifying. I promise you, as truth, it is pure horror. This is why I've always wondered about them who jump from planes or bungee jumping...
...no Sir., no Ma'am, and Naw Boo, it's not in me. It never has been. I declined the invite to go to jump school while in the Army, because I knew then as I know now - that would never-ever-never jump from any man's plane.
Seen.
