A Bus Ride About Town

Kin,

Good Night,

Late this afternoon I was able to travel via city bus from this North West County area clear across Hillsbourgh Avenue and Hillsbourgh County to The East Side. I had a fabulous time too! Traveled with Timm, "Drew and I and the Folks that came on board this giant form of transportation. Hun, these buses now days are huge, air conditioned and damned near luxury rides compared to what I had to ride back in the 1960's and 1970's...

...Good-Golly-Miss.-Molly! These damned things are big as a City Bus too! And the variety of Folk who climbed on board this 'Peace Bus' were incredable...

...and I mean, like damn, the integration, the cooperation, respect and the Humanity I witnessed today blew my mind. To think I was on the bus but for two or so hours is damned outstanding! What an awesome diversity that meets on these Mass Transportation Transporter's. I cut this trip short because of two friends who came up for the Buc's game. Wanted to make sure I was at the Lodge with time to spare.

The Caucasian fools who voted against our opportunity to have a 'Fast Train' connecting the Greater Tampa area with Orlando and beyond - to this very got-damned day blows my brains.

Right. No politics...

...so back on the City Bus. When, as a youth I lived in North West Miami, a few of my friends and I would jump on board the beach-bound-bus! Every Summer too! Free concerts. I saw Peter Frampton and K. C. And The Sunshine Band perform down on the beach. Saw Vikki Sue Robinson too. So many others I can't seem to recollect off the top of my scalp. These were Elton John's, "Philadelphia Freedom" days!  But yes, it has been decades since I rode a Big Bus. Rode buses in the Army too - almost forgot, but hell that was back in the late 1970's any who.

The bus's are different today. So are the fee's - but I be damned if the Folk are not any different.

Timm and Drew, thanks for a fan-damn-tastic Sunday afternoon. I loved it!

P.S. No, my bastard friends did not show up after the game. Yeah, I know. We would have had a blast! Well, I bet I know this shit now and for next time...

...he was talking about being stuck in traffic an 'hour or so after the fucking game. Shit, this is Tampa Bay Bucs. We were even Blacked Out within 75 miles from City limits. Please, even if this was a Sell Out, the Fuzz, have all of this shit mapped out. Ha! Sell out's? These sound like my Gott Damned Kinfolk to me!

Ciao!
